24th May 2014: THE STATUE OF MARY HELP OF CHRISTIANS LOOKS AT US AND PROTECTS US

Our school is dedicated to Mary Help of Christians (Mary Help of Christians Catholic School). On the day when we celebrated the feast, the statue of Mary Help of Christians that  from the first floor of the school looks at us and protects us, has been blessed. It was a welcome gift from a family of benefactors from India. To bless the statue we invited Fr Leonel Xavier who until last year was the rector of the Salesian presence in Monrovia and through him we got this beautiful gift. More and  more we understand what Don Bosco used to say: "... the Madonna is walking through the corridors of our houses!"
